A sign of Spring
The BlueBirds have returned to the back yard. My husband saw them checking out the bird house today. I am looking forward to seeing the babies.

A little Laughter to pass along
You Don't Have To Own A Cat To Appreciate This One! You don't even have to like 'em!
We were dressed and ready to go out for the New Years Eve Party. We turned on a night light, turned the answering machine on, covered our pet parakeet and put the cat in the backyard.
We phoned the local cab company and requested a taxi. The taxi arrived and we opened the front door to leave the house. The cat we put out in the yard, scoots back into the house. We didn't want the cat shut in the house because she always tries to eat the bird.
My wife goes out to the taxi, while I went inside to get the cat.. The cat runs upstairs, with me in hot pursuit. Waiting in the cab, my wife doesn't want the driver to know that the house will be empty for the night. So, she explains to the taxi driver that I will be out soon, "He's just going upstairs to say Goodbye to my mother."
A few minutes later, I get into the cab. "Sorry I took so long," I said, as we drove away. "That stupid female was hiding under the bed. I had to poke her with a coat hanger to get her to come out! She tried to take off, so I grabbed her by the neck. Then, I had to wrap her in a blanket to keep her from scratching me. But it worked! I hauled her but downstairs and threw her out into the back yard!"
The cab driver hit a parked car.

A return to sanity
After years of helping to raise my grandchildren,whom I dearly love,they finally have their own home. I and my husband are financially and emotionally drained.If you can find it in your hearts to donate a dollar or two to our sanity , it would be dearly appreciated. This way I can continue to help those in need some day because I will have time to recuperate.

Isn't it Spring YET!!
Isn't it spring yet? That is a question we are all asking ourselves.
This crazy weather can drive you crazy. Just when you thought it was safe to go outside...it rains again.
The best way to deal with this is to get cleaning. Yes you heard right. Wash those curtains, and if you have something lighter and brighter, now is the time to put them up. Also, clean your furniture. Give it a good cleaning and if you use throws wash them as well. And every chance you get, open those windows and let in some fresh air.
Don't forget to dust all your books and knick-knacks while your at it too.
You can make things feel more like spring by bringing in some flowers also.
So get to work and force that spring into your home,

Spring Cleaning
I realize it's only February, but it's time to think of spring cleaning.
We all get a little rammy this time of year and that's because we don't get enough fresh air and sunshine. So..On Nice days open up those windows and/or doors.even if only for a few minutes. You will be amazed at how fresh everything smells and how good you feel. And while you are at it open those curtains and let the sun shine in. It will warm things up and give your moral a much needed boost.
Another thing you can do is wash everything with a nice floral smelling softener. And put some fresh flowers around. I know money is tight but you can watch for sales at the market and even at the florist there may be bargains to be found. Just ask.

Bloglanding
Greetings fellow Cave Dwellers,
I thought I would talk today about something near and dear to my heart.
Working from home.
For many of us working outside the home is not an option. We need flexible hours and a job we can relate to or we won't stick with it.
One option is affiliate marketing. For those who have no idea what I am talking about, affiliate marketing is where you sell a product for someone else and get a percentage. Kind of like commission selling.
There are a lot of places on the net where you can become an affiliate at no cost. All you need to do is advertise the product or service and when a sale is made you get paid.
In a later post I will go in depth about some programs I use. There is a lot out there, so you can find something you can get behind.
For those who want something now here is the link to clickbank. This company has thousands of products you can sort through and just sell those you are interested in.
Now an excellent way to get people to go to your links is to talk about the products. Preferably you have bought it yourself, if not at least find out as much about it as you can and write a review with a link either in the text or in the resource box at the bottom if you are posting your review in an article directory (more on those later).
A good place to post is on a blog. This one is good. I also have a blog at Search Big Daddy. SBD is a great resource for anyone with a home business. You get a personal search portal and $50 in free advertising along with a top keyword position to advertise your products. There is also a blog there, mine is at http://bloglanding.com/kdries. For EVERY WORD you blog you get Advantage Points. These are used like money to pay for your ppc advertising. They can also be used to purchase banner ads, discount coupons for Restaurants and the like, with more to come. They have even made it easy to earn AP's by creating a downloadable search bar so it is right there in your browser when you need it. And you should make a point to search every day because searching also gives you AP's.
So to recap..Affiliate programs allow you to sell products at home for a commission, and a great way to advertise them at no cost is through blogging, preferably at Search Big Daddy because it Pays you to post and search there. :-))
